Riley and Riley (yes, you read that right) were the kind of clients a wedding planner dreams of - clear in their vision, open to our expertise, and most of all, they kept in perspective what a wedding is all about: celebrating love. We were so thrilled to make their wedding come to life and create a day that welcomed family and friends from around the world to laugh, cry, play, and party!

The Rileys are a fun-loving couple, so it only seemed fitting that they got married at the picturesque Blackhawk Golf Club, just west of Edmonton. We have to take a moment to appreciate the fantastic staff at Blackhawk who made Riley and Riley’s wedding set-up a very successful team effort! Joy Breitkreutz captured the most stunning and sweet moments, including a breathtaking grounded floral arch created by Morgan from A Petal for Your Thoughts, all while navigating the hottest and smokiest day of the summer. 

Truly a perfect match, Riley and Riley were the stars of their day surrounded by friends and family telling stories about boy Riley’s boundless optimism, and girl Riley’s fierce loyalty to those she loves. Their stunning ceremony with a view from the driving range had everyone in tears, including the Primrose team. A playful and social cocktail hour, complete with a giant custom-made crossword puzzle, card deck favours, and subtle nods to R&R’s beloved pup Georgia, turned into a wild reception where Riley and Riley danced their way into an exciting new chapter of their lives.
